GZ-155型中，高光强航空障碍灯是一个轻型信号灯器.它由155毫米单锥塑料透镜、铸铝灯座、电脑芯片控制器和脉冲氙灯等组成。它能产生极强闪光，主要用于高层建筑广播电视及微波通信塔，电力工业高塔和烟囱及机场周围建筑设施以保安全。并通过上海市计量测试技术研究院测试。
155毫米单锥塑料透镜是一个菲涅尔透镜，它是由聚丙烯酸塑料注塑成型，透光率高，耐日光老化性好。灯座由铝合金浇铸而成，其机械强度高，内部装有脉冲氙灯及闪光控制器，氙灯可拆卸调换。
脉冲氙灯控制器对脉冲氙灯提供有规律变化的直流高压和1万伏以上的引燃电压，是脉冲氙灯发出每秒三次的强劲的白色或红色闪光，由于发光体较长，它的散射角可达20度。
GZ-155型中，高光强航空障碍灯具有日光控制功能，白天自动关闭，晚上自动开启。

A 155mm plastic lens is a fresnellens molded with polypropylene acid plastics. The lamp fixture is made of ABS engineering plastics, which is strike resistant and stable. The light source is the most advanced U type frequent flash pulsed-xenon lamp , which has the longest lifespan, best illuminant efficiency and least power waste. It also utilizes the single computer chip controlling technology with excellent auxiliary electronic components to control the flash of the tube. A single flash tube can be used 100 million times during its life span.
GZ-155 digital aviation obstruction lamp is the most intelligent obstruction lamp developed on the basis of GZ-155 with the wireless power line carrier remote control technology. It adopts modularization design. Centered around GZ-155T digital aviation obstruction lamp ， the lamp sends synchronous flash signals to its own power lines and enables several GZ-155R digital aviation obstruction lamps within the same low-voltage power transformer and same power phase to receive synchronous flash signals with their own power lines. The installation is very simple and convenient. The whole set of aviation obstruction lamp system can achieve automatic synchronous flash once the power is on.
